Sensitive equipment is usual victims of poor power quality. Power quality determines the fitness of electrical power to consumer devices. It also refers to the relative frequency and severity of deviations in the incoming power supplied to electrical equipment from steady or fundamental 50 Hz, sinusoidal waveform of voltage or current. These deviations may affect safe or reliable operation of
electrical equipment’s such as circuit breakers, motors, fans, CNC machines, computers etc.
